Special Episode: Saying Adios to 2017, My Wedding and 2018 Intentions

In this episode of the podcast I got into all things wedding with Josh. We talk about why we wanted to have a wedding in the first place, and how we put together the day.

We talk about how this year kicked our butts and what we are getting ready for in 2018!

Plus, here are some more photos of our special day! This is just a sneak peak as we don't have the full photos yet. Thank you so much Gabriela Gandara for capturing our day!

One of my favorite parts was getting ready with my besties, and my two sisters! The cottage at the beautiful Langham Hotel in South Pasadena was the perfect backdrop for this!

Meanwhile, Joshua got ready with our little man! Suits by Friar Tux

When it came to shoes I chose comfort with these low block heels by my tocayay, Betsey Johnson.

The first look was one of our favorite moments!

Smiling and ugly crying.

This was the 2nd dress I tried on and I just instantly knew it was the one for me! I purchased it at Karoza Bridal in Glendale.

We wrote our own vows for the ceremony and the ring exchange.

We also included the kids in the ceremony

That first married kiss. Magical. Florals by White Sakuras in Huntington Beach.

Our amazing planner Loriann Serna from Wife of the Party ensured that we had a moment to take in the room before all of our guests walked in.

We had our own private dance just before we opened the room, it was so beautiful and intimate to have that time alone before we greeted our guests. We danced to "The Man in Me" by Bob Dylan. Our son's middle name is Dylan because of this song and so I was essentially crying the whole time.

Speeches by our best man, and my best friend of 16 years.

The first dance was one of our other favorite moments. We danced to "All I Need" by Radiohead.

I wasn't going to do the father-daughter dance but i'm so glad I did. It was a special moment. We danced to "Mi Nina Bonita" by Vicente Fernandez.

Joshua danced to "What A Wonderful World" with his mother. He tells the story of why they chose this song during the episode.

Our cake by Merengue Bakery in Monrovia was delicious!

Can't wait to share more!
